It’s not the nature of being human to be finished. There are moments in life when I will fall apart. But for the rest of the time — most of the time — I don’t need to be complete, but I want to be centred, and be well. Even in situations that I hate, I don’t have to emotionally sink, and at the same time, I won’t run away. I choose to be conscious.
